Dr. David Morton with a studentWelcome to the Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy at the University of Utah. We are a small but excellent department, with strong emphases on both research and teaching. Our vigorous and highly collaborative research programs center primarily around developmental neuroscience.

We are strongly committed to graduate training, emphasizing both research excellence and professional development. Students enter through the Neuroscience or Molecular Biology programs, and join the department in their second year after a year of laboratory rotations and core courses.
